Rotary Club of Swarthmore is a community organization that brings people from all backgrounds together in community service and building.
We welcome prospective members who live and/or work in Swarthmore and the surrounding area.
We strive to solve our most pressing issues by strengthening our connections with each other. We do this through programs & events like: our Speaker Series to engage our neighbors in both necessary and fun conversations such as “Local Watershed Challenges” and “Making A Homeplace: Stories From The Historically Black Neighborhood of Swarthmore”, Swarthmore’s Annual Fun Fair – a community town fair for all ages helping to raise over $50,000 for local organizations, CTEP – a collaboration with Delaware Community College to fully fund a trades-based program for anyone looking to learn a skillset while earning a degree.
We believe our club is for any and all who would like to join! We are a dynamic and diverse area, and want our community to be reflected in our membership. We currently have over 50 members who meet every Thursday and are always looking for more!

Rotary is a community-based organization that relies on membership.
We work to strengthen the fabric of our communities as well as other communities locally and around the World -from promoting literacy through tutoring and donating books, to aiding community organizations in their projects to funding pathways to education in our surrounding area to installing water purification systems in Belize to providing much needed supplies to flood victims in Eastern Pennsylvania.
We and our local community appreciate your interest in helping!
